After eight episodes of lip syncs, maxi challenges, and serving major 鈥楥harisma, Uniqueness, Nerve and Talent鈥�, Flor, 25, made it into the top three of RuPaul鈥檚 Drag Race Down Under Season Three.

Talking to 17c起草社区 about her time on the show, Flor said, 鈥淚t was a roller coaster. I had my ups and downs. I did enjoy it, obviously. It was my dream to be there. I had the opportunity to be there. So I tried to enjoy every single thing except the Snatch Game.聽

鈥淚 loved meeting RuPaul, Michelle, Rhys, and the rest of the girls. Everything that I did was a special moment that I will always remember. It was a fun experience 鈥� a unique experience.鈥�

‘Gave Me More Confidence To Grab The Microphone’

During her time on Drag Race, Flor was able to conquer her fears while gaining new skills.聽

The Down Under annual drag brunch Maxi Challenge was one such fear.

鈥淭hat was the thing that scared me the most,鈥� Flor shared. However, 鈥淚 can host now!鈥� she exclaimed.

鈥淚t gave me more confidence to grab the microphone and host bingos or branch here in New Zealand.鈥澛�

Should Have Listened To RuPaul?

Speaking about any regrets, Flor brought up her Snatch Game performance.聽

According to Flor, RuPaul wanted her to do former Prime Minister of New Zealand Jacinda Ardern.

鈥淚 was like 鈥榖aby, I don’t want to get deported鈥�,鈥� she laughed. 鈥淚 didn’t have her hair. I didn’t have her teeth. Or something to make her funny on the Snatch Game.鈥�

鈥淲ell, I ended up in the bottom for not listening to [RuPaul].鈥�

Fashion Week in Guatemala

Flor鈥檚 first time in drag was over eight years ago at a Fashion Week in Guatemala.

鈥淚t was amazing,鈥� she said.聽

鈥淚 didn’t do anything鈥� they put the wig on, they did my makeup. The outfit, they put it on me. The only thing I knew was how to walk on the runway.鈥�

鈥淭hat was my first time in drag and I still have photos and I still love them and I look gorgeous.鈥�

When asked if they were on social media, Flor said, with a laugh, 鈥淣o. No, they are not that good.鈥�

Drag Inspiration: Strong Latina Women

Flor鈥檚 style of drag is inspired by strong Latina women.

鈥淭hey like this red lip before they go to the party. They like the cocktails. They are always happy,” she explained.

鈥淢y family, all the women, they鈥檙e always wearing colourful things, always trying to be snatched and gorgeous.”聽

Watching telenovelas, Flor was also inspired by 鈥渢he villain and the good girls.鈥�

鈥淭he villain is my favourite because the villain is always the most gorgeous,鈥� she said.

Flor, The Shadiest Queen?

Throughout the competition, Flor had the reputation of being the 鈥渟hadiest鈥� queen on set.聽

When asked why this might be, Flor cheekily answered, 鈥淏ecause it’s correct.鈥澛�

鈥淎ll my confessionals and everything that I said, I would say it again,” she said.聽

鈥淚f they asked me what I think about, for example, Bumpa Love鈥檚 outfit, I would be like 鈥業 don’t like it鈥�. And I will say it to her face, that’s the difference.聽Obviously, it comes across as shade, but I’m telling her, to her face. So at least I’m shady in front of them.”

Flor added, with a laugh, 鈥淏ut you know, if they think that, I’ll take it.鈥�
