Drag Race’s Morphine Love Dion Speaks About Deadly Car Crash

Ru Paul鈥檚 Drag Race star has broken her silence after being injured in a deadly car crash.
On July 21 the Season 16 contestant was travelling in an Uber with Canada鈥檚 Drag Race star when she was involved in a serious collision and suffered multiple injuries.
The pair were amongst six individuals rushed to the hospital, while another individual tragically passed away from injuries sustained from the crash.
A statement shared to Morphine鈥檚 story said she was 鈥済rateful to be alive鈥�, whereas Kaos informed fans she was on 鈥渂ed rest鈥�.
Breaking a week of silence, Morphine has issued a 鈥渜uick update鈥� expressing gratitude for 鈥渁ll the love and positive messages鈥� from followers.
She detailed the extent of her injuries, writing:
鈥淎s many of you know, last weekend I was in a serious car accident suffering a fractured collarbone.
鈥淚 also broke my jaw in half for which I needed surgery to repair and lead to the loss of several teeth.
鈥淚鈥檓 still a bit sad and traumatised but extremely grateful and happy to be alive.鈥�
Morphine revealed that she鈥檚 back home in Miami 鈥渇ocusing on my recovery鈥�.
While she aims to continue posting on social media 鈥減eriodically鈥�, she asked for 鈥減atience and understanding during this difficult time.鈥�
The message continued on with her sending a 鈥渟pecial thank you鈥� to World of Wonder, MTV, Paramount, her manager Natasha and 鈥渕y closest friends for taking care of me and helping with my accommodations. You have been nothing but amazing to me.
