Gay Australian bobsledder Simon Dunn crowned world’s hottest man in Attitude’s Hot 100 list

FORMER听Sydney Convict rugby union player and now Calgary-based bobsledder Simon Dunn has been voted the world鈥檚 hottest man by the readers of the UK’s Attitude听尘补驳补锄颈苍别.
Beating Magic Mike star Channing Tatum and听One Direction’s Liam Payne who came second and third respectively, the list of celebrities that Dunn beat in the magazine’s annual Hot 100 list听also includes Tom Daley in fourth, Chris Evans in fifth, Chris Pratt in sixth, Zac Efron in seventh, and David Beckham in eighth.
The full list will be published in the next issue of Attitude听on听July 22.
Dunn was crowned the winner of this year’s Hot 100 at an official party at London鈥檚 Mondrian Hotel.
鈥淎s one of the few gay sportsmen, he’s won legions of fans with his comments about homophobia in sport and only recently spoke out against the Australian government鈥檚 lack of support for gay marriage,” Attitude editor Matthew Todd said in a press release.
“With an attainable body type that is very popular with our readers, people all over the world have voted for him in droves.”

Dunn criticised Australia’s lack of marriage equality in a previous interview with Attitude.
鈥淥ne day I would like to meet the right guy, settle down and have kids,” he said.
“But I will only do this when I can get married in front of friends and family in my home country.听If I can represent that country in sport I should be able to marry the person I love.
“I can鈥檛 believe that now the US has passed same-sex marriage, my country still hasn鈥檛 caught up with the rest of the world, which makes me angry.鈥�

, Dunn explained that he hoped his popularity would help reduce homophobia in sport.
鈥淎 major part for me also is that it breaks down stereotypes [in sport],” he said.
鈥淚f one kid growing up realises their sexuality isn鈥檛 an issue in the sporting environment, then that鈥檚 a win in itself.鈥�
