This article is 100% correct throughout. We LGBTIQ individuals still have a very long way to go until full equality is achieved, even Western Australia still explicitly legally bans gay men and single men from altruistic surrogacy contracts. A bill has been introduced and passed the lower house, but has stalled for months within the WA upper house. Still waiting for the promised bill to be introduced to the South Australia Parliament to repeal and abolish the medieval and archaic “gay panic defense”.
