Wow, if nothing more, he’s certainly got everyone talking judging by the number of comments! Wilson is a hypocrite on several fronts,
He IS opposed to same sex marriage, I’ve heard him state this. Now as human rights commissioner, this should disqualify him from that role to start with.
He sides with a party and political process that , at best, belittles and shuns the queer community generally and resists same sex marriage to the death .
He’s gay, for fucks sake! And yet he wants to deny other gay people the right to marry… This creep is the wolf in sheeps clothing.
Nothing praiseworthy here. Yet given the numbers of homophobes in Labors ranks who want to deny ss marriage as well, maybe we’re better off with Wilson et al

No doubt about it – some of you leftie poofters really do have the handle on intolerant bile. I don’t always agree with Tim Wilson but at least he brings a perspective to an argument that makes people including those who are constantly against us, re look at things. It is ironic that he gets accused of being so right wing yet the truth is he often gets hammered because he is too nearer the centre and at least he doesn’t make me cringe with embarrassment like plenty of the unkempt numbers that claim to represent us/me when they come up on telly. There’s nothing wrong with diversity even within our own groups- but its pretty clear that many of our own number have neither the wit nor wisdom to appreciate theirs isn’t the only view.

Both Tim and Kim haven’t worked a day in their lives although Tim doesn’t have the wealth or crass fashion sense that they have thank goodness and he’s Australian and not American.
