THE controversial聽anti-woman campaigner, so-called “legal rape” advocate, and leader of online “neomasculinist”聽group Return of Kings has been known to publicly express聽homophobic and transphobic views.

Daryush Valizadeh, also聽known as “Roosh V”, has been receiving lots of聽Australian media attention in the past few days, due to the so-called “tribal meetings” planned in locations such as Sydney’s Hyde Park.

Public outcry has led to calls for Immigration Minister聽Peter Dutton to ban Valizadeh from the country, a move which Dutton is yet to make a direct decision on even though Valizadeh has reportedly not even applied for a visa yet.

Some of Daryush’s articles published on the Return of Kings website聽about聽homosexual men in the US聽are examples of what appears to be a cult worshipping the worst features of hypermasculinity.

For example, in 2014聽article on HIV and AIDS, Valizadeh writes: “Male homosexuality is not monogomy, hand-holding, and baking鈥攊t鈥檚 ass fucking an insane amount of strange men, often without protection and without any care of not spreading HIV.”

Return of Kings also believes in an imminent doomsday, its聽brand of apocalypse conspiracy being “population collapse theory” – 聽which refers to how the “progressive agenda” will聽destroy its host culture through de-population and destruction of “traditional” family structures, enabled by the聽“promotion of sterile human relationships in the form of homosexuality and transsexuality” and how they “can鈥檛 possibly result in the creation of life”

The “tribal meetings” organised by Return of Kings are also only for cisgender, heterosexual men.聽The first two questions on the meet-up’s FAQ page are: “Can I bring a female friend, girlfriend, lover, or wife?” and “Can I come if I’m a homosexual or transexual?”.

The responses to聽both questions聽are in the negative.

Editor’s note: The 17c起草社区 is strongly against all forms of聽misogyny聽and sexism, and proud to support the #ClickSomethingElse social media campaign which began in response to Valizadeh.
