LGBTI women wanted for anonymous health survey
A STUDY exploring help-seeking behaviour among same-sex attracted, bisexual, trans, gender-diverse and intersex women is calling for volunteers to complete an anonymous online survey.
Australian LGBTI听women at least 18 years of age are being asked to complete a听survey that will take approximately 15 to 20 minutes in order to better understand how the community seeks help to support their health and wellbeing.
The Rainbow Women鈥檚 Help Seeking Research project aims听to provide recommendations for improving health-related resources for queer听women, including information about mental health.
While the survey is anonymous, its chief investigator Ruth McNair is asking for any willing women be contacted for participation in a related small discussion group at a later stage.
McNair, an associate professor from the Department of General Practice at The University of Melbourne, has received funding from beyondblue to conduct this research.
