IN聽the lead up to new show on MTV and his聽The Toddlerz Ball US tour, YouTube star Todrick Hall has released a glammed-up LGBTI parody of the opening scene of聽Disney classic Beauty and the Beast.
The parody video features Colleen Ballinger, aka Miranda Sings as lead character Belle, with appearances from聽Rupaul, N*SYNC singer Lance Bass, Ariana Grande鈥檚 brother and Big Brother US graduate Frankie Grande, Daniel Franzese from Mean Girls, and an entourage of other dancers, singers, gay YouTube bloggers, comedians and聽RuPaul’s Drag Race听补濒耻尘苍颈.
The clip was also filmed on location in West Hollywood, one of Los Angeles’ “gaybourhoods”.
In a recent chat with the聽The Andrew and Troy Show on online聽gay radio station OX Gold, Hall explained why he thought聽gay men seem to love Disney so much.
鈥淚 don鈥檛 think it is just the gay guys, I think gay guys specifically have a connection with it because we all at heart are hopeless romantics and we all grew up watching these Disney stories and wanting to either be the princess or wanting to marry the prince,” he said.
Having recently visited Australia, Hall, who is also a聽singer, expressed his love for his Aussie fans.
鈥淚 never knew I had so many fans in Australia,鈥� he said.
“When I came there a few months ago to visit, it was such an amazing time, I had a meet-up with fans and over 100 kids came in Sydney and in Brisbane.”
